Health and Wellbeing Event cancelled
After much thought, it is with regret that we have taken the decision to cancel our Health & Wellbeing Event on Thursday 19th March 2020.
We would like to reassure everyone that this is purely a precautionary measure and our Macmillan Information and Support Centre is still operating as normal and our support groups are still running as usual:
We acknowledge that this is going against current guidance from NHS England but as the welfare of our service users is paramount to us, we felt we should err on the side of caution and cancel the event at this time.
Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre is open for drop-in at 20, Stanley Street, Southport, from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. Alternatively, you can call us on 01704 533024 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note that the proposed visit of the Macmillan Bus on 17th January in Chapel Street has been cancelled.
The Macmillan Bus will be visiting Southport on Friday 17th January from 10am to 4pm in Chapel Street.
‘All the staff and volunteers here at the Centre would like to wish you the very best for Christmas and the New Year. However, we know that this time of year is often difficult so if you do need to speak to anyone when we’re closed, the Macmillan Support Line will be open every day throughout the holidays from 9am to 6pm (call them free on 0808 808 0000) and for older people, The Silver Line is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (call them free on 0800 470 8090)’
