WALKING GROUP – Southport town centre
Meet at 10.30am outside The Atkinson
Walk around the town centre or Promenade followed by refreshments in a local café or pub
Just bring money for your drinks!

£1 per session

Come along for a lovely time – activities change regularly so call the Centre for more details
Cost varies – but nothing expensive!!!

KEEP MOVING CANCER SUPPORT

We are a friendly and supportive group who realise the importance of exercise in the treatment and follow-up of cancer. We meet once a week for a one hour class, run by a friendly and fully qualified trainer and a chat. We are open to anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis whether it is patient, partner or relative

Venue: The Studio, Dunes Leisure Centre
Day: Every Tuesday
Time: 1.30pm until 2.30pm

£2 per session

MACMILLAN SINGERS – Southport Deaf Centre, Stanley Street, Southport
Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 1.30pm to 2.30pm
NOT a choir, just a great singing group with wonderful people!

£1 per session

Thursday

CRAFT AND NATTER
Thursdays 10am – 12pm, 1st Thursday of the month at the Southport Macmillan Centre, other weeks at The Cherish Centre, Albert Road, Southport
Crafting and Chatting with tea and biscuits
Approx. £1 per session

Macmillan Centre Bereavement Drop-in Group
2nd Thursday of the month 2.00pm-3:30pm Southport

10am to 12pm

All the ‘ings’ – knitting, crocheting, sewing or just chatting with a bunch of lovely ladies (gentlemen welcome too though!

Prostate Cancer Support Group

First meeting Richmond Pub on Scarisbrick New Road in Southport - Thursday in August
from 7pm – 9pm

The purpose of the meetings is to provide peer support - to give men who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and their families, the opportunity to meet other people in a similar situation, or who have been through the same situation, and to share their experiences of the various support and treatment options available.
